Chicken Dim Sim
Dim sum is a Chinese cuisine usually served in the mornings until noon time. It is served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate.

200 gm Prawn (minced)
10 ml Sesame Oil
5 gm Sugar
3 gm White Pepper
Potato Starch
6 Wanton Wrappers
4 Green Shallots ( finely chopped )
Salt to taste

Ingredients:
200 gm Chicken (minced)200 gm Prawn (minced)
10 ml Sesame Oil
5 gm Sugar
3 gm White Pepper
Potato Starch
6 Wanton Wrappers
4 Green Shallots ( finely chopped )
Salt to taste
Bamboo Steamer
Directions:
- Mix the minced chicken and prawns with sugar, shallots, salt, sesame oil and potato starch.
- Place the wonton wrappers and spoon a tablespoonful of ch8icken and prawn mixture onto the centre of each wrapper.
- Brush edges of wrappers with warm water and join the corners together to enclose filling and form pouches.
- Brush a bamboo steamer with oil and place the dim sims in the steamer
- Steam for 7-8 minutes or until dim sims are cooked through.
- Serve with Diamond Sauce.(See Dips and Chutneys)
