Falafel With Tahina Sauce
Falafel is very popular in the Middle East fast food. It is served as a sandwich, stuffed in pita bread with lettuce and tomatoes. It is served on a salad and tahini.

1 Onion (chopped)
4 cloves Garlic (minced)
3 tbsp Fresh Parsley (chopped)
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
2 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
¼ cup Sesame Seed
1 tsp Flour
1tbsp Olive oil
Oil for frying
Salt and Pepper to taste

Ingredients:
1 cup Chickpeas1 Onion (chopped)
4 cloves Garlic (minced)
3 tbsp Fresh Parsley (chopped)
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
2 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
¼ cup Sesame Seed
1 tsp Flour
1tbsp Olive oil
Oil for frying
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
- Take dried chickpeas in a bowl and soak them overnight.
- Grind them.
- Combine chickpeas, garlic, onion, coriander, parsley, cumin, salt and pepper in medium bowl.
- Add flour and form a thick paste.
- Form small balls and slightly flatten them.
- Fry in oil until golden brown.
- Pour tahina sauce over falafel.
- Tahina Sauce (sesame seed paste)
- Roast sesame seeds.
- Whisk together sesame seeds, minced garlic (1 clove), lemon juice, olive oil, salt and 4 tbsp of water until it is a drizzling consistency.
- The goal is a thick, yet pourable texture.
