Vegetable Dim Sim
Dim sum is a Chinese cuisine usually served in the mornings until noon time. It is served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate.
No. of Servings: 2
½ cup Cabbage (finely chopped)
½ cup Mushrooms (finely chopped)
½ cup Water Chestnuts (finely chopped)
2 Green Onions (chopped)
Salt to taste
6-8 Wonton Wrappers
5 gm Sesame Oil
Potato Starch

Ingredients:
1 Carrot (grated)½ cup Cabbage (finely chopped)
½ cup Mushrooms (finely chopped)
½ cup Water Chestnuts (finely chopped)
2 Green Onions (chopped)
Salt to taste
6-8 Wonton Wrappers
5 gm Sesame Oil
Potato Starch
Directions:
- Mix carrot, cabbage, onion, mushrooms ,water chestnuts with sugar, shallots, salt, sesame oil and potato starch.
- Place the wonton wrappers and spoon a tablespoonful of the above mixture onto the centre of each wrapper.
- Brush edges of wrappers with warm water and join the corners together to enclose filling and form pouches.
- Brush a bamboo steamer with oil and place the dim sims in the steamer
- Steam for 7-8 minutes or until dim sims are cooked through.
