Vegetable Dim Sim
Dim sum is a Chinese cuisine usually served in the mornings until noon time. It is served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate.

Ingredients:
1 Carrot (grated)
½ cup Cabbage (finely chopped)
½ cup Mushrooms (finely chopped)
½ cup Water Chestnuts (finely chopped)
2 Green Onions (chopped)
Salt to taste
6-8 Wonton Wrappers
5 gm Sesame Oil
Potato Starch
Directions:
  1. Mix carrot, cabbage, onion, mushrooms ,water chestnuts with sugar, shallots, salt, sesame oil and potato starch.
  2. Place the wonton wrappers and spoon a tablespoonful of the above mixture onto the centre of each wrapper.
  3. Brush edges of wrappers with warm water and join the corners together to enclose filling and form pouches.
  4. Brush a bamboo steamer with oil and place the dim sims in the steamer
  5. Steam for 7-8 minutes or until dim sims are cooked through.
