Ingredients:
4 cups Milk
1/4 cup Almonds (blanched and roughly chopped)
1tsp Poppy Seeds (soaked for 2 hrs)
3 Dates (blended with little milk)
¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
3-4 tbsp Honey
Directions:
  1. Grind the soaked poppy seeds into a fine paste.
  2. Heat milk in a thick-bottomed vessel and bring to a boil.
  3. Add poppy seeds and blended dates.
  4. Strain through a muslin cloth. Discard the residue.
  5. Add chopped almonds and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Add green cardamom powder.
  7. Remove from the flame, add honey and stir.
  8. Serve hot.
  9. To serve it chilled, keep it in refrigerator. Blend it in the blender till frothy before serving.
