Apple Cinnamon Cake
A moist and delicious apple cake made with fresh apples.

2 cups Light Brown Sugar
A pinch of Cinnamon
4 tbsp Butter (melted)

2 cups Flour
2 tsp Baking Soda
1½ tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Salt
2 Eggs (well beaten)
½ cup Butter
¾ cup Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tbsp Milk
1-cup Walnuts and Almonds (chopped)

Ingredients:
4 cups Apples (peeled and diced)2 cups Light Brown Sugar

1½ tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Salt
2 Eggs (well beaten)
½ cup Butter
¾ cup Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tbsp Milk
1-cup Walnuts and Almonds (chopped)
Directions:
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Mix apples with sugar, pinch of cinnamon and melted butter thoroughly.
- Butter the baking tray and arrange the apple mixture in it.
- Combine the flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon in a bowl.
- In a bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract.
- Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, beating just until blended.
- Pour the batter evenly over the apple slices.
- Bake for an hour until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Invert the cake onto the cake plate.
- Serve this cake with warm with apple purée and cream or custard.
