Sandwich Cake
This is a simple and a classy cake, which could be served for afternoon tea.

120gms Sugar
2 Eggs
Vanilla essence few drops

Ingredients:
120gms Self-raising flour120gms Butter
120gms Sugar
2 Eggs
Vanilla essence few drops
Directions:
- In a bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- Gently fold in the sifted flour.
- Add vanilla essence.
- Divide the mixture into two-greased baking tin.
- Keep it for baking in the pre-heated oven to 180C for about 25 minutes.
- After the cake is done, leave it to cool for few minutes and then turn out into the serving tray.
- Sandwich the two cakes together with jam and whipped cream and dust it on the top with icing sugar.
