Sandwich Cake
This is a simple and a classy cake, which could be served for afternoon tea.

Ingredients:
120gms Self-raising flour
120gms Butter
120gms Sugar
2 Eggs
Vanilla essence few drops
Directions:
  1. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  3. Gently fold in the sifted flour.
  4. Add vanilla essence.
  5. Divide the mixture into two-greased baking tin.
  6. Keep it for baking in the pre-heated oven to 180C for about 25 minutes.
  7. After the cake is done, leave it to cool for few minutes and then turn out into the serving tray.
  8. Sandwich the two cakes together with jam and whipped cream and dust it on the top with icing sugar.
