Date Pancakes
This dessert is excellent as it is nutritious and delicious. It can be made richer by drizzling honey over warm pancake.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Dates (deseeded and grounded)
1/4 cup Refined Flour
1 tbsp Baking Powder
2 Egg Yolk
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Honey or Maple Syrup
Cinnamon Powder to garnish
Directions:
  1. In a bowl mix together baking powder, flour, sugar and egg yolk.
  2. Add water to the mixture to form a thick batter and keep aside for half an hour.
  3. Mix the grounded dates with little sesame oil and make small patties with the grounded dates.
  4. Heat the non stick pan and drop in two spoonfuls of the batter to form mini pancakes.
  5. Place a date patty on one pancake and quickly cover it with the second pancake.
  6. Cook till golden brown.
  7. Repeat to make more pancakes.
  8. Seve it hot or cold garnished with honey or maple syrup and a pinch of cinnamon.
  9. Serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
