Ingredients:
1 cup Barley
½ cup Lentil (red or yellow)
6 cups Water
2 Onions (chopped)
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 cup Tomatoes (diced)
1 tbsp Parsley or Mint
2 Carrots (diced)
1 tbsp Dried Thyme
1 cup Non-fat Yogurt
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
  1. Heat oil in large saucepan and sauté onion, carrot, thyme, pepper and salt until onions are soft.
  2. Boil water, barley, lentils and the vegetables in another pan till they are tender.
  3. Stir in the above onion mixture along with Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Boil it till it thickens.
  5. Pour the yogurt and sprinkle parsley or mint.
  6. Serve hot.
