Apple Chutney
Apple chutney has a tangy, sweet flavored and easy-to-make. It is a good combination with both veg and non-veg starters.

1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
1 tsp Ginger (grated)
3-4 Green Chilies (finely chopped)
1 Red Bell Pepper (cored and diced)
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (roasted)
½ tsp Coriander Seeds (roasted and powdered)
½ tsp Mustard Seeds
½ tsp Black pepper Powder
½ tsp Green Cardamom Powder
¼ cup Raisins
1 tsp Limejuice
2 tsp cooking oil
Salt to taste

Ingredients:
2 Apples (peeled and chopped)1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
1 tsp Ginger (grated)
3-4 Green Chilies (finely chopped)
1 Red Bell Pepper (cored and diced)
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (roasted)
½ tsp Coriander Seeds (roasted and powdered)

Salt to taste
Directions:
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and coriander powder. Cook until popping stops.
- Add ginger, green chilies, red bell pepper, black pepper powder, cardamom powder and salt.
- Add the chopped apples and cook till they become soft.
- Add brown sugar, raisins and limejuice to it.
- Cook, uncovered, over moderate heat, until mixture is soft and aromatic.
- Chill before serving.
