Dried Plum Chutney
It is a delicacy and served on formal occasions.

Ingredients:
250gms Dried Plums
30gms Dried Dates
30gms Almonds
30gms Pistachio
1tsp Dried Ginger Powder
1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
1 tsp Black Pepper
4 tsp Salt
Directions:
  1. Soak the dried plums and dates overnight in water.
  2. Boil them in the same water for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the seeds from the plums and mash and pass the pulp through the fine sieve.
  4. Add molasses and cook till the consistency is creamy.
  5. Blanch the almonds and pistachio and peel their skins. Chop them finely.
  6. Remove the seeds from the dates and chop them finely.
  7. Mix the nuts, cumin powder, black pepper, ginger powder and chopped dates into the plum puree.
  8. Bring to boil.
  9. Cool and pour into sterilized bottles.
