Guacamole
Guacamole is an avocado-based dip.
No. of Servings: 2 cups
3 tbsp Onions (minced)
1 tbsp Garlic (minced)
1 Tomato (finely chopped)
2 Jalapeno Peppers (minced)
2 tbsp Fresh Cilantro (finely chopped)
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
Salt to taste
Corn Tortilla Chips or Cucumber Slices
No. of Servings: 2 cups
Ingredients:
2 ripe Avocado 3 tbsp Onions (minced)
1 tbsp Garlic (minced)
1 Tomato (finely chopped)
2 Jalapeno Peppers (minced)
2 tbsp Fresh Cilantro (finely chopped)
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
Salt to taste
Corn Tortilla Chips or Cucumber Slices
Directions:
- Combine onion, garlic, jalapeno pepper and cilantro in a bowl.
- Cut avocados lengthwise into halves; remove and discard pits. Scoop out avocado flesh. Add to the pepper mixture. Mash roughly, leaving avocado slightly chunky.
- Add tomato, lemon juice and salt to avocado mixture. Mix well.
- Refrigerate up to 4 hours.
- Serve with Corn Tortilla Chips, fresh vegetables or spoon onto cucumber slices.
