Ingredients:
500gms Minced Meat
1 cup Lasagna Noodles
2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 Onions (finely chopped)
5 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
2 Tomatoes (Chopped)
1 cans Tomato Paste
2 tsp Salt
½ tsp Oregano
½ tsp Basil
½ tsp Black Pepper
1 Bay leaf
250gms ricotta or cottage cheese
200gms Mozzarella cheese
2 tsp. Parmesan cheese
Directions:
  1. In a frying pan, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until onions are soft. Add minced meat and brown.
  2. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, dried basil, oregano, black pepper, and bay leaf.
  3. Add 2-3 cups of water. Cover and simmer 1 hour till sauce thickens.
  4. Boil lasagna in boiling salted water till tender. Drain lasagna and add 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  5. In the baking dish, make 3 layers each of noodles, ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese, meat sauce, and ending with Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 45 minutes.
