The Secret To Get The Rice To Fluff Up
Directions:
- Use long grain white rice.
- The liquid used should be HOT when added.
- Use twice as much liquid as rice –In 1-cup rice add 2 cups chicken broth or water.
- Bring the rice to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to low.
- Once the pot is covered and the flame simmered, DON'T TOUCH the rice, DON'T LIFT the lid.
- After 20 minutes turn the burner off but don’t touch it for at least another 5 - 10 minutes before removing the lid.
