Ingredients:
250gms Cottage Cheese (cubed)
1 cup Peas
2 medium Onions (minced)
1 cup Tomatoes Puree
1 tsp Ginger-garlic Paste
¼ cup Yogurt
¼ tsp. Red chili powder
1½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
Salt to taste
2 tsp Garam Masala (mixture of cinnamon, roasted cumin, cloves, nutmeg or mace and green cardamom seed or black cardamom pods).
Chopped Coriander Leaves for garnishing
Directions:
  1. Heat the oil in the pan and fry cottage cheese until golden brown. Place them onto a plate lined with kitchen paper so that the excess oil is absorbed away.
  2. In a pan heat oil and add the pinch of cumin seed and wait until it splutters.
  3. Add onion and ginger-garlic paste. Allow it to brown.
  4. Add tomato puree. Add yogurt and cook again till the oil separates.
  5. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt and garam masala and stir well.
  6. Add green peas and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add about 4 small glasses of water to the pan and bring to simmer.
  8. Add the previously fried cubes of cottage cheese and let it simmer for a few minutes till oil separates.
  9. Stir in freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  10. Serve hot.
